- GLA cultural events partnership
The Urban Enterprise Network is working with the GLA to support their cultural event partners.
Targeting third sector organisations who may have received (or requested) support from the GLA in the past, we delivered a workshop, which highlighted the current criteria which will be used to assess proposals for GLA support for the delivery of cultural events in the capital. The main aim of the programme is to build the capacity of the organisations who have approached the GLA for work in the past, and provide them with an insight into possible alternative funding, reiterate the need to focus on key areas (such as ensuring value for money, their business case, monitoring etc..) and ensuring that any activities which the GLA do support, align to key GLA policy areas.
The Urban Enterprise Network also worked with NCVO, who delivered workshops which outlined how organisations can develop strategies which diversify their income streams, and BASSAC who spoke to attendees on the advantages of developing effective voluntary sector delivery partnerships and consortia
