About the Network..Sign up!

The Urban Enterprise Network serves to provide a platform for people who are passionate about life in the city of London to engage, participate and contribute in discussion and analysis on issues, which affect the capital.

Through our debates and event evenings, we take on issues relating to the capital’s success, progress, challenges, diversity and talents.  We take a provocative look at London Life, how we live, how our city is changing and growing, how it’s perceived, and we encourage people to engage closer with the city through our activities.

As much as we celebrate the region’s historic success, the Urban Enterprise Network also recognizes the complexities and challenges, which define London.

We live in a city which has seen an increase in the disparity between the rich and poor, increasing levels of unemployment, with many Londoners unable to compete and benefit from the capital’s successes. With these marked differences in the quality of life and opportunity for many communities, an increasingly diverse population demographic with over 300 languages spoken, (there are over 50 non-indigenous communities, which have a population of more than 10,000 in London) participation in activities, which aim to alleviate misconceptions and stereotypes now carry an increased element of responsibility.

Those who work with and through the Urban Enterprise Network will bring with them a variety of different experiences and ideologies.  However what we all have in common is an appreciation and pride in the capital. The Urban Enterprise Network targets those who are interested, observant, keen, aware and enjoy the opportunity to participate and contribute to fair, balanced, and robust debate regarding the city in which we live.
